(Jasiya ) 45 : 5
وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِنْ رِزْقٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ آيَاتٌ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
And in the alternation of night and days, and in the sustenance Allah sends down from the sky, thus in the reviving of the earth with it after death, and in the changing of the winds there are signs for the people who are utilising the intelligence.
‘Allah sends down the sustenance’ told in this verse doesn’t mean that Allah is sending down the food items directly from the heaven, but it means that by sending down the rain from the sky, He causes to produce different food items on the earth.
